Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of the Water Resources Institute plays an important role in providing advice to the Director, business contacts in various industries and regions, and overall direction of the WRI's programs. The Advisory Board is a group of water managers, business managers, public officials, educators, and others with an interest in the success of the WRI, and meets at least three times a year as a group.

Members of the Advisory Board include

  • Butch Araiza, General Manager, West San Bernardino County Water District
  • Donald D. Goodin, East Valley Water District
  • Eric Garner, Best, Best & Krieger
  • Hank Stoy, retired, Cucamonga Valley Water District
  • John Hayball, Southern California Edison
  • Larry Lawrence, The Perrier Group
  • Mark Kinsey, General Manager, Monte Vista Water District
  • Martha Davis, Inland Empire Utilities Agency
  • Patti Arlt , MWD
  • Robert Martin, General Manager, East Valley Water District
  • Robert Krieger, Krieger and Stewart
  • Steve Copelan, San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District
  • Tom Crowley, San Bernardino Valley Water Conversation Dist.
  • Deborah Witney, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation

In addition, several members of the CSUSB faculty and staff sit on the Advisory Board including:
